I was pleasantly surprised by my stay, as the indoor pool looked inviting and the entire motel had the look of a fresh redo, making my weekend exploration of the nearby historic downtown and scenic Jones Park all the more enjoyable.

I was shocked by the unclean room conditions. There were used prophylactic packages under the bed, and the staff seemed uninterested when I reported it. The intermittent knocking for checkout reminded me of how little they respected guests. This place hasn't seen updates in decades, making it quite uncomfortable.

The lobby is nice and cute, and the front counter staff was friendly and attentive. I was surprised how clean the room was, beds were comfortable too. Makes you feel a little at home, maybe.

We enjoyed a peaceful night in a very clean Queen Room. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast selection exceeded our expectations, especially the waffle maker! For families, ensure to ask about nearby dining options—lots of great choices within walking distance.
